The Day My Dear Sweet Precious Died

It was around noon on Friday, the 10th of July. It was a good day and a religious day. It was a day when God grants all prayers and it was a day when Precious would leave forever. It was a day that I will never forget and a day that I would always regret.

Precious was my best friend, she was my nurse and my doctor. She was my constant companion and someone I loved so very much. She was the sweetest little cat in the whole world and she is gone. She had been sick for a few months with a bad urinary track infection and I was treating her everyday with apple cider vinegar so she could eat and she was ok. But this is not how she died. She died a martyr, I guess. She died alone.

So on that fateful Friday, she motions she wants to go outside so I go over to her and kiss her on the forehead and pet her very gently and I look in her eyes and tell her, "You want to go outside?" She wags her tail and jumps on the window. So I opened the window and swat her on the butt like I always do. I thought to myself, that she wants to go and play and be happy.

Precious was my constant friend and she has demonstrated over and over again how much she loves me. She has been my nurse when I was sick and she sleeps with me in the winter under the covers. Precious just loves the heater. She is fun, caring and yes she does kiss me gently on the lips when she is trying to butter me up for food. She never ever complains and only on occasion turns her back to me.

I remember one day when she was lost and trying to find her way home. The neighbors call me that they had found her, so I run to get her. When I see her, I call out, "Precious." She sees me and runs to me so very fast. She jumps in my lap and kisses me right on the lips. The whole neighborhood clapped for joy. They had never seen a cat who loved her mom so much. Precious was so happy as her mom had saved her. I call Precious and she walks beside me and the both of us go home. Precious became a rock star after that and everyone would always ask, "Where's Precious?" They are asking the same thing today, where's Precious?

I never imagined a day would come when Precious would not be here. I never imagined how cruel people can be but indeed they are very cruel. For indeed she was murdered and so were many other cats on that day.

I called Precious and called her but she did not come home. I searched and searched for her but Precious did not come home. I finally realized that something had happened to her and I became incredibly sad and incredibly worried. I went to the landlord and told her, someone is trying to kill all of the animals. I felt my inner child screaming this out. She laughed at me and I locked Baby my other cat in the house that night.

The next day Noor and Muhanin were missing and so was Panchie. I had locked baby just in the nick of time but where was Sweetie? Sweetie and Panchie were stray cats that just sat in the yard and we feed from time to time and Noor and Muhanin belonged to the landlord. Someone was killing our entire family. Someone was committing genocide of our most cherished love ones. It was just too horrible to even think about. I was just too horrible to imagine.

The next day I grabbed Sweetie and placed her for adoption in the local shelter. They do not put them asleep here they keep them forever till they get adopted. They have tons of food and water and they are very well taken care of, I hope. She did not even say goodbye to me but gently goes to the other cats and then runs when she sees the food. She was happy, but I was not. So besides the pain of losing our family cats now I had to give away a friend who depended on us all.

As I return to the home, I am in shock. I had to do more and more to find Precious. I looked everyday and walked everywhere and I prayed. Yes, I prayed so much and I cried even more. I implored my lord for mercy and I asked him to rectify the affair. But to my dismay and my horror, she never returned.

I have tried to cope with the loss, but I cannot. I have tried to handle the pain, but I cannot. I want to scream and scream that this is not fair but the words won't come. My soul aches and I can see Angels everywhere and I can see emptiness everywhere. When I look to see her place where she slept, I see emptiness. I see that she was never there and I see yes she has gone on. I want her back, I want her to be in her place and yes I want the people to pay who did this.

My sorrow is so much and my pain is so deep and I am nothing now without her. Deaths come to many as it did to my husband 7 years ago and yes we eventually do accept it was for the best but for now, it is pain.

The hardest part is not knowing how she died and knowing if she suffered. I so want to bury her body and wrap her in a cloth so beautiful. I so want to dig her grave and lie her in it gently, not even wanting to think of her being thrown in some trash dumpster somewhere. I want and hope she did not suffer much and that indeed she was not afraid but that it happened very quickly. I do know that she is better off now as I know Allah is merciful. I know he is all forgiving and I know that his bounty is much more than on earth. So as I part with her on this day, try to think of her as I do with the Angels.

Mr. Ponchie - The Death of a King

There was this big white cat who came to my door one day and wanted food.  He was very polite and would stand back and let all the other cats eat first.  He would not let me approach him at all, but if I stood back away from the door and allowed him freedom, he would run in very quick to eat some food.

He learned quick that Baby was in charge, so he would go first and kiss her.  He learned quick that if Baby loved you, she would allow you to enter.  So each day Mr. Ponchie would cry for food, kiss baby and run to eat some food I put out for him and then retire to a chair.

I was never allowed to get close to him. Never allowed to pet him, never allowed to massage his massive body.  My landlord even mentioned how tough Mr. Ponchie was.  Mr. Ponchie had been abused by so many people that he would never let anyone to get close.  We adopted many cats and those cats had babies.  Once there yard was filled with cats Mr. Ponchie disappeared.

I always wondered where Mr. Ponchie was.  I moved to another home a few blocks away and one day sure enough, there was Mr. Ponchie.  He started coming to my home everyday for food and then one day I got real brave and I reached down to pet Mr. Ponchie and you know what, he let me.  It had been 2 years since I first saw Mr. Ponchie, but by now he trusted me.  So one day I gently reached down and picked up Mr. Ponchie and he allowed me to hold him just a few seconds, but it was enough to hold him close.

Mr. Ponchie had never known what love was before, but he did now.  I would just get teary eye thinking about Mr. Ponchie and how he never had anyone to love him.  He never knew any comforts of this life.  I also remember the first time Mr. Ponchie came in from the cold weather and discovered how wonderful it was to lay close to a heater.  He would stretch out and just enjoy the heat so much.

He was someone I loved so dear.  He would come a few times a day and cry to come in.  He was the head macho cat outside and a force to be recokned with but in my home he was a pussy cat.  He always knew his place.  We loved him to death.  He got injured a few times and one time someone shot him in the foot, but he recovered.  He always got better.  I always doctored him and he got well.

Then one day he came with a huge injury. It appeared he had an infected eye which I kept doctoring but as I was cleaning the huge amount of pus from his eye, I discovered a huge hole in his head right next to his eye and another injury down in his cheek. The injuries were perfectly round and very very deep.  I tried to take him to the doctor but he absolutely refused to get in the carrier. I had a taxi waiting  but Mr. Ponchie refused.

I had a vet who was suppose to come to treat him, but he never came either.  Mr. Ponchie would get better and I would feel relieved and then he got much worse.  As much as I tried, I could not get the infection under control.  Then the infection caused Mr. Ponchie to have swollen abscesses in his throat.  He was deadly sick now.  I was scared.

So I plotted on how I could get Mr. Ponchie to the vet.  I trapped him in the bathroom and pushed him in the bag.  He fought back but he was so weak he gave in.  I called the taxi right away and ran him to the vet. By the time we got there Mr Ponchie was so sick, he could not move.  The vet picked him up and placed him in a small carrier to take him upstairs. I just knew they could make Mr. Ponchie well.  I never ever thought he would die.

In that week I had 4 cats injured.  A small kitten died from a horrific fall and then maggots attacked the open sore, then Mr. Ponchie and then Mr. Fluffy had a bad injury to his leg and had to be taken to the hospital.  While I was there, I asked about Mr. Ponchie and they told me he was real bad.  I asked about his chances and they told me 50/50.  But I never thought he would die.

Fate was never in Mr. Ponchie's corner.  They did not operate on Mr. Ponchie for 4 days to take the fluids out of his neck.  During this time Mr. Ponchie refused to eat or drink.  It could have been he was so scared or it could have been he was just too sick. When I took Mr. Fluffy to be treated I debated about visiting Mr. Ponchie but the vet frowned.  I asked him would it be worse on Mr. Ponchie to see me and then not go home and they said yes. I made the fatal mistake of not visiting Mr. Ponchie.

So on Sunday I called to see if they operated and they did, but said he was extremely dehydrated and was in bad shape. The next morning at 8:30am the phone rang and a woman on the other side "cat dead."  She was forceful and awful. I screamed, "What do you mean cat dead?"  I told her I want to speak to the doctor. I told the doctor this is dead wrong for her to say this. She should have said she was sorry to give me the news or something.

I begin to wonder what kind of treatment Mr. Ponchie got. Was he left to die alone with no help at all? Did they even care about Mr. Ponchie leaving him to suffer for 4 days?  When I took Mr. Ponchie in they were having a party and the doctor did not even want to look.  I assume they just put Mr. Ponchie in a cage and left him.  No one cared about Mr. Ponchie and he died all alone.

I often wondered if I did right and if dying in my arms would have been better.  I honestly did what I thought was best, but in the end my dear sweet Mr. Ponchie left this earth.  People were shocked Mr. Ponchie was gone, but no one really loved him like I did.  He was a white knight that came and left.  He never knew love, just from me.

Mr. Ponchie died on June 10th, the same day as my father and my grandmother.  Another cat I had died on July 10th 2010.  I wonder what it is about the date the 10th.  My world is not the same without Mr. Ponchie.  He was someone I counted on seeing daily. He was the light of my life and someone I have missed so bad.  I hope Mr. Ponchie is happy now and is out of pain.  I hope God tells Mr. Ponchie how much I care.  Mr. Ponchie, mama loves you so much.

The Best Small Animal Pet Carriers Available for Travel

The day was Halloween 1998 and I was on my way to Jordan.  I had my cat Tiger with me and we had gotten her shots and all her paperwork done.  She was frightened and she was not sure what was going to happen next, but I had purchased a Sherpa Pet Carrier and paid nearly $100 for the bag.  They are much cheaper now.  The bag I purchased is just like the picture of Kristin Cavallari and Bardot.  Almost 15 years later, I am still using the same bad with one tiny patch that my cat made.

The bag is so executive looking that few knew I had a black and white cat inside.  Some will look carefully.  The bag fit perfectly under the seat and although it is not forbidden, opening up the carrier and allowing your cat out may not be accepted by all.

The people sitting next to me were not thrilled.  I would open the bag occasionally and pet Tiger and reassure her that everything was fine.  The air trip was more than 8 hours.

When I arrived in Jordan, I went up to the official at the pet station and told him, "I have a cat to declare."  I wanted to make sure I had no problems.  He told me, "No, you do not have a cat."  I was stunned.  I told him again, "Yes, I have a cat."  He looked very stern at me and said, "NO! You do not have a cat."  I just smiled and kept walking.

When I got to the area where my husband was waiting, he ran to kiss me and of course his first concern was how was his cat Tiger. He opens the carrier and pulls Tiger out and starts kissing her.  We had made it to our new home and me and Tiger were very happy.

Traveling with Pets

When you travel with your pets consider giving them a tranquilizer prior to departing.  Animals can become very anxious on long trips. Make sure you have a portable water and food bowl that you can put in the bag with you.  You do not want to feed them too much if at all so they do not go to the bathroom a lot and smell up the cabin causing others to complain about your animal.  Take some disposable liners for your carrier and their favorite toy.  Make sure to have their papers ready and a hotel checked out prior to going on your trip.

Cats Have Feelings - Signs That Your Cat Feels the Loss of a Loved One

Baby my cat is always depressed since her mom died. She is a psychological mess. Baby was brought to me as a tiny kitten, someone had killed her mom and all her family, she was an orphan. She was so small and she needed milk. My cat, Precious, had just lost all her kittens and had milk. So as fate would have it, she adopted Baby.

Baby was a mess with a broken arm and soon to have a broken tail. I took her to the doctor and they extracted tons of puss and blood out of her badly infected shoulder. Baby was not a normal kitten, having to hobble on her leg. But Precious adopted her as her own kitten. For two month she cradled her and washed her and fed her and then after two months like many moms do, she kicked her away. Would never have anything to do with her again.

Baby and Precious lived with me for over a year when one day Precious got very sick and we had to doctor her all the time. She was the sweetest cat ever. I loved her so much. Precious went out the window one day never to return, the neighborhood children killed her and many other cats too. Our home was empty and I cried all the time. Precious was with me for 6 years. So baby watched me deteriorate and baby got worse and worse. She could not breathe anymore.

I had to rush Baby to the hospital and find out she was depressed. She breathed so hard and her heart had so many palpitations I thought she was dying, but the doc said she was depressed. A way most cats get when depressed is they plain don't eat. Many cats will hide in unusual places and turn there backs to their owners. All you have to do is look in their eyes and you can tell how they feel.

Cats are amazing creatures. They can give you one stare to let you know how angry they are. They can't speak but they sure can slap you with their paw. I remember once I was disciplining my cat Muffy and he screamed bloody murder and with the force of Goliath he smacked me with his paw. He was so strong. Then he runs out in the yard and screams and screams. He screamed so loud even the children cried. He was hurt and he was upset.

Cats sometimes will just mope around when depressed also. Baby turns her back to me or just won't let me love her at all. She still has palpitations that occur at the slightest incident. One day, I brought a blind kitten home to nurse and the kitten died. Baby found the kitten and went crazy. She screamed and she screamed. Her heart started beating so fast and she practically died in my arms. She jumped in my lap and hid her eyes in my arms as if she was so afraid and ashamed.

It broke my heart to see her that way. I comforted her and yes fed her some of her favorite treats. She soon calmed now until the next day when she found the kitten again. Cats never forget. Baby never forgot the day her mother died, kind of like people I guess. With cats they cannot talk to get help but they have their ways.

Candlelight Vigil for International Homeless Animal's Day

In order to know how to old a candlelight vigil, you first have to understand the plight of the homeless animals. You have to imagine the fear in their eyes as they wait to die. You have to imagine how it feels to have a huge gush of water sprayed all over your cage to clean the feces with out much care. They are left shivering in all kinds of weather and they are scared. Yes, they could be your dog or cat that wondered off your lawn one day and they could be waiting to die.

On August 15th, there will be many locations, around the world hosting the International Homeless Animal's Day Candlelight Vigil. It is truly a day that you must see. It is a day of life and a day of hope. It is a day you will never, ever forget. It is a candlelight service for the homeless animals and a day of memories of animals lost. Through this article we will show you exactly how to hold a vigil of your own. There will be an example at the end with step by step instructions.

Through this special observance, we hope to raise awareness of the overpopulation problems all over the world. The day's activities will include the lighting of the candles, adoptions, remembrance of the animals, emotional speeches from veterinarians, local officials, nurses and people who work in the actual shelters. There will be games, music, concerts, dog walks, open houses, ear tagging, flea market booths and more.

They are asking people and organizations to hold these vigils in honor of thousands of homeless animals. The site does list locations all over the world, where you can attend a vigil or celebration. It is extremely easy to host a similar event in your town. Just go to their site and register.

http://www.isaronline.org/ihad .html

Locations of the sites already planned all over the world.

http://www.isaronline.org/conf irmed_vigils_2009.html

ISAR (International Society for Animal Rights), first initiated this Vigil back in 1992, 17 years ago. There main aim was to inform people of the conditions inside the shelters and to show how many animals are killed there each year. Since 1992 this has become a yearly vigil that has been so successful that it is now spread overseas. ISAR is requesting foreign participation from many countries, to continue their crusade.

ISAR is inviting all animal lovers around the globe to go to their site and light a virtual candle in memory of the homeless animals everywhere. ISAR's virtual candle lighting is a very emotional experience, as you remember a lost pet of yours or the plight of the homeless animals. There are participants from all other the globe from America to India and each one is sharing a personal experience with someone who cares.

http://www.isaronline.org/ihad .html

The plight of homeless animals is a cause that very few undertake, but it is a cause the whole world should acknowledge. Animals are treated badly and horribly in these shelters, as they wait to be executed with no hope in sight. Maybe a fat dog or an ugly dog will never be saved, but we as humans can help, one step at a time and one dollar at a time. The candlelight vigil is to raise money, to have animals spayed and neutered and all money goes to the cause of animals and not to line the pockets of anyone.

There are vigils all over the world, from Canada to Africa, and each one is special and individual. It is a cause we should be going to each month, not once a year.

If you will go to this site and light a candle and invite someone to come to our vigil, you will never forget this time and moment.

Tabitha: Death of a Pet

I am not even sure how Tabitha came into our lives, but she was always there.  I guess she is something like me, a pest and not admired by many, but a heart of gold.  She was always hungry and always screaming.  I was able to get her to calm down more, but she felt like she was always at war with the cats.

I remember when she first got pregnant.  All the cats were attacking her and I went outside to help her and she hissed at me and ran away.  This was a cruel way for any female cat to live and I often wonder why such a system was created.  Male cats are insane when a female cat is in heat and even my dear sweet Mr. Ponchie is like a cobra snake ready to attack. He would not give up.

So she got pregnant and her baby died.  She sad on that poor dead kitten trying to get it to nurse, but it never did.  The second litter, not sure what happen there, but never saw one either.  She would go to the neighbors begging for food and sometimes she succeeded and sometimes she just was turned away.  She kind of grew on me as she was always there.

My cat Baby hated her with a passion and if Baby ever went outside, she would kill her.  Baby would sit at the window hissing at her constantly.  I would leave any food that was extra out on the door step for Tabby and no matter what time of the day I called, Tabby would come running.  She was always grateful and would snuggle up to my leg hoping that someone would love her.

So everyday she would fight for the scraps left over that I was feeding Mr. Ponchie and she just was always there.  The neighbors talked of giving Tabby away, but I thought that was not necessary as she had a room to sleep outside in.

Then yesterday, July 29th, 2011 I was getting ready to go to town to take care of some errands.  I was passing by a dumpster on the way to catch a bus and there lay Tabby sleeping.  I took my foot to nudge Tabby to get up and go home to sleep.  Tabby lay very quiet and did not move.  Her eyes were glassy looking.  As I leaned down to pick her up, I noticed her body was a little stiff.  Tabby was not sleeping, she was dead.

There was no blood or no marks from a car, Tabby just was not moving.  I could not believe she was dead.  I started yelling for the neighbors to come as Tabby was dead.  I cried and cried.  One neighbor tells me that Tabby had been hit by a car and went flying through the air.  The driver stopped and kicker her to the side of the street and left her to die.  Tabby was not gasping for breath, she must of died instantly.

As I picked up her limp body, she was still warm.  I am sure she must of died just a few minutes earlier.  I hugged her and cried some more.  Tabby was pregnant and I had thoughts of trying to free the babies, but I just could not do that. I assume they died an awful death.  Tabby was a small kitty.

By the next morning, Tabby had swollen up very much from the internal bleeding I guess.  She had began to smell and black blood was seeping out her vagina and her nose.  Her eyes were open now and it frightened me. I was so sick the night before that I did not bury her, but I had to bury her today.  She was huge by now and I had to dig a huge grave.

I said a prayer for Tabby as I covered her up.  I was so sad to say good-bye to my little friend.  My house is empty without Tabby.  Even tonight I had some left over gravy and my first thought was to take it to Tabby, but then I realized she was gone. It is so quiet here. No sound, no noise and no Tabby.

I questioned the neighbors about Tabby's death.  Some were happy she was gone, but not me.  Although Tabby was a pest at times, she was a member of my clan.  I ask Allah to bless her and keep her safe and I ask Allah to circle my home with angels and calm my heart.

My dear sweet Tabby, I wish you love and lots of food in heaven.

5 days after Tabby's death I heard some crying in my storage room.  There sat 2 twin white baby kittens crying for their mom.  The storage was full of debris, cement bags and more. I called the neighbors in and it was the 1st day of Ramadan and had them clear the room.

We finally reached the babies and they were so precious and I promised Allah on that day I would take care of them the rest of my life.

I named them Miss Tammer after their mom and Fluffy.  Fluffy would life one year and die of pneumonia from severe complications.  It snowed and we could not get him to a vet and although I spent 700 dollars trying to I had to bury him.  He was the best cat ever but like most cats he was territorial and fought with Black Face Kitty all the time and it wore him out.  When he got out one cold snowy day, it did him in.

Miss Tammer is still with us.  She was never the same after Fluffers died, but she is a loving pet and doctors me all the time.  She is the most beautiful cat in Jordan.  I tell her stories often of how her mom went to Turkey to live.

So one day she went outside and found Fluffers grave and took Baby with her.  Baby ran in the house screaming and screaming.  I yelled at Tammer to see what she did.  Miss Tammer was so happy to have found her long lost friend.

Sleeping with Your Favorite Pet Can Make You Ill

A new study called "Zoonoses in the Bedroom," conducted by Bruno B Chomel and Ben Sun, chief veterinarians with the California Department of Health, showed that by sleeping with your pet that you may be susceptible to 100 diseases including the bubonic plague. Some of the illnesses that they list include: bubonic plague, meningitis, staphylococcus intermedius Infections, rabies, cat scratch disease, liver damage, worms and chagas.

Chagas can be life threatening as it is a parasitic infection that can affect people with weakened immune systems. This infection can affect the heart and digestive system. Besides chagas there were less common parasite infections such as pin worms and ring worms. The veterinarians looked through years of journals to find out whom if any had a major or minor disease from animals. Although they did find a very small amount of major diseases, the threat is till real.

A 9 year old boy from New Mexico caught the bubonic plague from a flea infested cat. A 44 y ear old woman and a baby both caught meningitis which only goes to prove that the animal infection problem is not limited to age or race and can be transferred if the owners are not sensible in their treatment of the animals.

Will Million of Pet Owners Listen to the New Study?

Approximately 14 % - 62% of pet owners sleep with their pets or allow them to lie on their beds. Will these new revelations sway many owners from cuddling with their loved ones? The general consensus is "No." Most pet owners who treat Fido or Muffy with loving care and tenderness will not change their habits, but may keep the bed area cleaner and safe as possible.

Will Muffy be happy with his own bed next to the owner's bed? Again most pets are habit creatures and even if offered a nice soft bed next to the owner, the pet will jump on the bed every time.

Kissing Pets on the Mouth

The other practice discussed as being hazardous was the practice of kissing pets on the mouth. This is a dangerous practice and even if the owner could not force Muffy and Fido to sleep on the floor, refraining from contacting the saliva of pets is highly recommended. It is much better to kiss the pet on top of the head.

A Healthy Pet is Less Dangerous to Humans

The report goes on to talk about keeping animals healthy. The safest pets are those kept in doors and ones that are taken to vets regularly. Simple and easy practices can and should be utilized such as de-worming the pet regularly, getting rid of all fleas and feeding a natural raw diet to the animal.

Pet foods sometimes cause more damage than good and should be used with caution. Training your pet to switch to raw meat is not an easy task, but one that is workable. Cats are carnivorous animals and love meat. Many cats will prefer chicken, liver and fish opposed to beef. With trial and error and a bit of luck any pet can be healthy and safer.

Benefits of Pet Ownership

The veterinarians did say that there are many benefits of having animals and pets also. According to Chomel and Sun, "Pets have become an integral part of the family and are often considered to be extended family. Having pets brings many benefits, such as psychological support, friendship, and even good health practices (exercising or reducing stress).

Pet ownership has long been touted as a way to help the elderly feel less lonely and a source of companionship also. Pets are protectors and pets have become part of the family and many pet owners treat their pets as a child would be treated in other families. Although there are many benefits to having a pet, it must be stated that the benefits will not out weigh the hazards if you or a loved one becomes ill. Caution should be used in all situations and new and improved hygiene practices should be implemented.

Learn More Why Adopt A Pet Awareness Is Very Important

When I first came to Jordan, I had no ideal that there were organizations here to help the poor. Being I was a cat owner and poor, I was desperate to help my sick animals. So I called the telephone company and they gave me the telephone number for SPANA. SPANA is a non profit organization, from England that helps animals free of charge.

Some of the things they do are:

- located in 21 of the poorest countries on earth
- help working animals and those who depend on them
- run an adoption agency for all homeless animals indefinitely. There do not kill the animals.
- operate and do spaying and neutering of all animals, free of charge

So when my cat was dying, they helped me save her. She was in the hospital for over 5 days and because I was a widow and had no income, they took care of her free of charge. To this day, 8 years later, they are still caring for my animals. If there was not places like this, who openly take cake of all animals, we would be in serious trouble.

There are so many homeless animals in Jordan and the dogs are wild and many are infected with diseases. The government openly kills them and they are helplessly murdered, just because they are dogs. SPANA offers a home and a shelter for these animals. My home is a shelter for many homeless animals. The yard is huge and there are many trees for climbing and we feed them as we can. A place where many would shut them out. People do not realize that they have feelings and they care.

Puppy mills, pet stores and dog fights have got to be the worse places on this earth. Only through education will and can the public have knowledge of these events. As we watch the horrible pit dog fights, where the animals are literally torn apart, as the crowd cheers on. It is enough to break your heart. I adopted a pet from a pet shop and the cat was infected, so badly that she needed over eighty dollars in fees to recover. Stop the violence, stop the sickness and stop the horrors. There creatures are innocent and they need someone who cares.

Adopt a day and events to help the homeless, such as the International Homeless Animal Candlelight Vigil, highlight the plight of these animals. Events all around the world are held, to raise money to spay and neuter the animals. It is a beautiful ceremony and one everyone should participate in. Lighting a candle on line, broke my heart and brought me to tears.

I guarantee you that if you light a candle for an animal, maybe you have lost in the past, you will not have a dry tear in your eyes. It is an emotional and special time. Some of the homeless animals being butchered and placed in shelters, are lost animals that have gone astray. Sometimes, your neighbors are turning the animals in, out of annoyance. Some of the animals in the shelters could be someone's lost pet and it could be mine too.

I am asking you to stand up and be counted. I am asking you to donate what you can and adopt who you can. I am asking you to never let another person harm, mame or kill another innocent animal. My cat Precious was recently murdered or kidnapped and I have no ideal where she is. The pain and the horror of that day never leaves me. I hope someone, somewhere would of been kind to her. I hope someone, somewhere would of cared that she was my long lost love. I miss her so very much

Do You Believe That Pets Go to Heaven?

Of course pets go to heaven. They are like little people and God created them just like he did with us, love and more love. I have lost many cats recently and I believe like many, that they are in heaven with God and my husband. I believe that when they die, the Angel of Death, Israfeel, comes and takes their little paws and guides them to heaven. I believe that they are not in any pain now.

I lost my little friend Precious 5 weeks ago. She just went out the window, never to return. We lost many cats in those first few days and I am sure some bad person took many lives that fateful day. I called and called her, but she never returned and I prayed and I prayed to God to show me my sweet Precious. I saw a white winged horse and an Angel riding the hose was holding my sweet friend. I saw her limp body and I saw sadness on the face of the Angel.
I cried as I am doing right now, and that night, I dreamed of Precious. In that dream, Precious was fat and happy and did not want to come back to me. I saw her and I held her, but she ran away again. I believe that God was showing me that she is with him now and I am not to worry at all. Sure, I still pray that she comes home, but deep inside I know she will not be back. Pain and horror can be a bad thing, but to believe that the kitties do not go to heaven, impossible for sure.

In Islam, we believe that animals go to heaven and that on judgement day, they have rights. They will go before God and tell him who helped them and who hurt them. I believe with all my heart she has rights too. I believe that me relying on God to take such revenge is better than seeking out the one who harmed her, so I am waiting. I believe that God is merciful and if he took my closest friend away, then it must be for a better place.

I imagine green pastures with lots of flowers. I imagine lots of food and milk for sure and I imagine Precious jumping and running in huge pastures of clover. Just imagine how many Angels she is with today.

How to Take Care of Multiple Cats

Caring for multiple cats is like caring for twins or triplets for humans. Each one of them has needs and each one of them are different. No two cats are ever the same. Each has their own personality, their likes and dislikes and each one has special needs. It will never cease to be easy, but a task many would love to undertake.

If you are a cat lover as many are including the writer of this article, then one cat is never enough. After you start to raise multiple cats in your home, you will find that they fight at meals, they fight over a special toy and they fight over your attention. The best way to accomplish this task is by doing it separately.

Feeding:

So if you are going to feed cat number one dry food, then you better have dry food for the rest. The trick is to place the food in different locations. Place the dry food two feet apart from each cats feeding space. It is normal for all cats to be territorial. Dry food should only be fed once a day, if at all. Dry food tends to lead to urinary tract infections and should be limited.

If you are going to buy a cat toy, buy three and buy three different kinds. If you are going to feed them their lunch, place it in a very large platter which they will all share or separate bowls. Funny how multiple cats share the same water dish though. Also, to keep your cat's urinary tract in good shape, place a 1/4 teaspoon of raw apple vinegar in their water.

Attention:

Cats are extremely jealous and anytime you spend more time with the one than the other cat, you endanger their feelings. So if you go up to one cat and kiss and caress them, you better do the same for the rest of the group. A cat who is upset will turn his back towards you, to show you their anger.

Cats are very emotional and they can give you a look that will let you know, "You upset me mom." Like changing their way of life, moving to a new home or even changing the kitty litter. Some cats will refuse to use the kitty litter when a lower grade is brought home, than they are use to.

Sleeping Arrangements:

Every cat has a place where they like to sleep. Whether it is on the bed with the owner or on a blanket that feels comfortable to them. When you have multiple cats, make sure that every cat has his special place and never try to put another cat in their place. This is where the saying comes about pampering your cat.

In the end, taking care of multiple cats is not difficult but it does involve some work and care. But anyone who has several cats will tell you that it is well worth the bother. Cats are like people, they want to be loved.

A Colloidal Silver Success Story

I wanted to tell the story of my dear precious cat, named Baby. About one year ago she became very ill.  She was in the hospital twice and had a very extensive operation causing her to be in the hospital for 10 days.

She was not eating and going to the bathroom for several weeks.  Her temperature was 105 and for cats  that is very bad.  They told me to say goodbye to her.  I cried every day and begged Allah for help.

I called daily to see how Baby was doing and everyday the same response was coming, "Baby will not eat."  I thought how can she possibly live if she can't eat?  They refused to let her come home due to the fact of her operation and high temperature.

Finally after 10 days I brought her home still with a 104 temperature, not going to the bathroom and failure to eat. She was so happy to see me.

So I brought her home and opened up a can of very healthy cat food for her with liver in it and the stupid cat ate like a pig.  I told her, "Why didn't you eat at the doctor's office?"  She just smirked.

Baby started to get better, but was not well and had a temperature constantly.  My friend told me there was only one thing that could help now and that was a colloidal silver generator.

I ordered a pocket generator and it arrived in Jordan.  I had to pay $180 for the generator including custom fees and that is a lot here.

Baby fought me tooth and nail over the oral injections I had to give her.  She hated it so bad.  I put it in her food and she would refuse to eat.  I finally decided to just put it in her water and she loved it.  She would gulp it down like crazy.  Now Baby developed a beautiful coat with fur so soft and I was so surprised.

Well Baby is 100% cured now, no fever, fat as a pig and the star of the neighborhood.  People who visit me want to know the secret.  When I tell them about the silver water, they are amazed.

Now everyone is wanting some of the miracle water.  I tell you the truth, without the silver water Baby would be dead.  With Silver water she is alive and happy.  Now Baby is running free outside and a vision of health.

Maybe colloidal silver cures cancer, well it also cured my precious little Baby too.

Update on Colloidal Silver - Now Using Ionic Silver

I have found a new love.  It is called Ionic silver and is 10,000 times stronger than colloidal silver.  So I now feed my cats ionic silver instead.  I also used it to cure their mites.  Just one spray in their ears stopped all infections and itching problems.

You see my selections below.  Read more on ionic silver here
